AMTC Membership Application

A person wishing to apply for membership to the American Manchester Terrier Club can request a membership packet from the Membership Committee Chairman or download pdf.  Eligibility Membership shall be open to all persons 12 years or age and older who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the objectives and purposes of this club. Junior membership is open to Juniors 12 to 18 years of age.  Juniors may apply for full Membership at 18 years of age.

Included in the membership packet will be an application form, a Code of Ethics, the constitution and by-laws, instructions on how to apply, and a description of how the membership procedure works.  A prospective member must be sponsored by two current members in good standing. They must fill out the entire application and send it with the membership dues (family $35, single $30, and junior $20) and sponsorship letter to the membership chairperson. Applications and sponsorship letters must be signed and dated.  

Directions and Requirements
  1. Read and Sign the American Manchester Terrier Club Application Form and Code of Ethics.  You will also need to enclose a letter regarding your (or significant other) interest in the club, and why you feel you would be an asset to the club.
  2. Two sponsor requirement; 1st sponsor (breeder) will need to write a letter of club recommendation and attached it to the application. 2nd sponsor (listed as an active ATMC member) will ONLY need to sign your application form. Note; All letters need to be originals as do the signatures on the Application and Code of Ethics
  3. Mail your signed/dated Application and Code of Ethics and a check to your Breeder/Sponsor for signature and letter of recommendation.  Do not forget to include a self-address stamped envelope to: Kathy Bradley, 208 South Elm Street; Gilman, Iowa 50106

Print and Sign both application and Code of Ethics form <download here> .  Make sure you have enclosed a self-stamped envelope and enclose a check and mail the to your sponsor for signature and recommendation letter.  Your breeder/sponsor will in turn mail it to the AMTC Secretary for processing.  Kathy Bradley, 208 South Elm Street; Gilman, Iowa 50106
